September MALSP Meeting - eDiscovery Share Forum: An Interactive Discussion of Local eDiscovery Survey Results

SYNOPSIS: 

The eDiscovery field continues to change, but are these evolutionary or revolutionary changes and how do the varied stakeholders view them? Please join us on Thursday, September 19th for this highly interactive share-forum that will look at local survey results using both small and large group discussion to explore eDiscovery topics from the perspectives of key stakeholders.

PRESENTERS:


Sean Hora, Director, KPMG LLP

Sean Hora is a Director in KPMG’s Forensic practice and is responsible for their US-based review center operations. He has more than 15 years of experience managing eDiscovery projects and technology implementations. Before joining KPMG, Sean worked in-house supporting the Legal department of a major life sciences company and has a Master’s degree in Software Systems from the University of Saint Thomas.


Mark Burns, Senior eDiscovery Manager, Boston Scientific

Mark Burns is a Sr. eDiscovery Manager for the Chief Litigation Office at Boston Scientific Corporation. Mr. Burns is responsible for the eDiscovery team which manages the identification, preservation, collection, processing, and review of data for product liability, IP and employment litigation; government investigations; and other corporate litigation disputes. He also manages the relationships with eDiscovery and review vendors. In this role, Mr. Burns was responsible for bringing data processing in-house, implementing a legal hold system, implementing a new collection tool suite, and performing process analysis on end-to-end eDiscovery process and implemented Lean principles for improving efficiency and quality.
